The candidate must be pursuing a degree, diploma or other certification in Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

The Candidate Will Assist our Automation Department, and Will be Involved in

• Assist in the development and implementation of production processes.
• Support the production team in daily operations, including monitoring and optimizing workflows.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct data analysis and report findings to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Assist with electrical panel wiring, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes and procedures.
• Working with the CSA authorities to get the products certified
• Integrate robots with welding machines and conduct testing to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Managing inventory on production floor
• Other duties as assigned by Production and Service Manager

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Mechanical design using sheet metal and machining
• Knowledge of hand tools and familiarity with machine shop tools
• Drafting using: Solidworks (3D); Auto CAD
• Analysis/streamlining of manufacturing process,
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits
• Knowledge of Canadian codes and standards
• Familiarity with robotic systems and automation is an asset.
• MS Office applications
