The candidate must be pursuing a degree, diploma or other certification in Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
The Candidate Will Assist our Automation Department, and Will be Involved in
- Assist in the development and implementation of production processes.
- Support the production team in daily operations, including monitoring and optimizing workflows.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Conduct data analysis and report findings to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
- Assist with electrical panel wiring, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes and procedures.
- Working with the CSA authorities to get the products certified
- Integrate robots with welding machines and conduct testing to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Managing inventory on production floor
- Other duties as assigned by Production and Service Manager
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Mechanical design using sheet metal and machining
- Knowledge of hand tools and familiarity with machine shop tools
- Drafting using: Solidworks (3D); Auto CAD
- Analysis/streamlining of manufacturing process,
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits
- Knowledge of Canadian codes and standards
- Familiarity with robotic systems and automation is an asset.
- MS Office applications
