Project Engineering Student Intern

Job Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively and coordinating with Proposals, Engineering, Projects, & Production, Teams
  • Track Project budgets and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Work on building relationships with existing vendors and assist with finding new vendors
  • Generating required project documentation using MS Office, SAP, and other software
  • Implementing current project management techniques and guidelines
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and automations
  • Create & review BOM for projects and sub-product lines
  • Evaluate project health and budget on a weekly basis
  • Develop & compile User Manuals for custom systems
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Engineers & Managers

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  • 3rd Year in Engineering University Co-op Program (Preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics)

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & TRAINING REQUIREMENT:

  • Solid, practical mechanical design skills/accomplishments
  • Programming experience with Visual Basic or similar languages
  • Experience in modeling and layouts using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Solid observation skills with attention to details
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time management skill
