Job Responsibilities

•    Assist shipping/receiving with inbound/outbound material handling
•    Assist shipping/receiving with order picking and packing
•    Assist shipping/receiving for paperwork and logistic preparation and tracking
•    Process UPS inbound & outbound shipments
•    Ability to travel to Burlington Automation in Waterdown, ON as required
•    Verify parts and quantities versus packing slips
•    Store received materials in their appropriate homes
•    Assist with production order picking
•    Dispose of used packaging materials/recycling/garbage in appropriate containers
•    Perform cycle counts
•    Perform general shop duties as assigned and assist in other departments as workload requires
•    Work cooperatively with other departments (Support, Production, Purchasing, etc.) to raise and resolve any issues that may arise
•    To participate cooperatively as an employee within the company performance review process
•    To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implanting continuous improvement strategies and initiatives
•    To fully abide and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees
•    To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Supply Chain Manager in a timely and professional manner

Job Requirements

  • High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to function in a fast paced environment
  • Work independently without supervision
  • Ability to organize/prioritize tasks, possess a sense of urgency, be self-directed and self-motivated
  • Ability to effective work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Forklift experience
  • Familiar with SAP, or a comparable ERP system
