Summary

 

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Service Center Supervisor for our Nashville operation. The Service Center Supervisor will manage day to day operations of the Lincoln Service Center (LSC), maintain a safe and compliant workplace., drive learning, quality, and efficiency initiatives across all facets of repair center operation. In addition, this position will monitor and measure the return and documentation of warranty material (parts & machines). This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global leader in its industry. Responsibilities

 

The Service Center Supervisor will manage the Lincoln Service Center (LSC) in key areas which meet or exceed customer support requirements to maximize their uptime. Responsibilities include: 

  • Maintain highest quality repairs through personnel training & development; manage training and processing throughput in SAP Service Module.
  • Balance loaner fleet repair/placement demand with warranty and non-warranty repairs.
  • Maintain performance metrics for LSC. Performance metrics to include safety, training fulfillments, throughput, labor spend, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Use performance metrics as a baseline for improvement.
  • Manage Service Center P&L and overall profitability. Implement pricing changes, cost reduction initiatives, and general services changes as necessary for the business entity.
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations in regards to billable repair services. Provide estimates & quotes, maintain a schedule of work, and disposition POs.
  • Keep records of LSC repair equipment as needed to: (A) Prevent loss, (B) Apply repair and preventative maintenance, (C) Replacement of obsolete repair equipment, and (D) Maintain the highest level of quality and throughput.
  • Accept all relevant technical, safety, supervisory, and software training.

 

 Education & Experience Required 

 

  • Associates degree in technical field OR equivalent experience; a 4 year degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of technical experience with a focus on customer-facing repair prospects or technical troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on technical or engineering experience preferred.
  • Proven people management skills, excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and analytical software.
  • Prior Project Management Experience
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
  • Ability to read and understand engineering prints, electrical diagrams, and schematics
