Position Summary
Coordinate material flow and order fulfillment activities for panel build operations. Own inventory visibility, ERP transaction integrity, customer shipment scheduling, invoicing coordination, material receipt verification, warehouse replenishment scheduling, and cross-functional communication between Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, and Operations. Ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production and customer commitments while maintaining accurate inventory and transactional records.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain ERP master data and transaction accuracy to support planning, inventory control, and reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain material availability, and publish inventory, shortage, and fulfillment status reports.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely purchase order execution, material availability, and supplier follow-up on critical shortages.
- Verify material receipts and ensure accurate ERP transactions for receiving transfers, issues, and inventory adjustments.
- Schedule and coordinate material kit deliveries from the warehouse to support production requirements and build schedules.
- Act as the primary interface between Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, and Shipping/Receiving to resolve material flow issues.
- Schedule customer shipments and coordinate documentation required for on-time delivery.
- Coordinate customer invoicing activities and validate shipment information for billing accuracy.
- Perform inventory reconciliations, support cycle counts, investigate variances, and drive corrective actions.
- Support production scheduling by communicating material availability constraints and recovery plans.
- Track key performance indicators including inventory accuracy, material availability, on-time shipment performance, and order fulfillment status.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control, material flow, transaction accuracy, and process efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Supply Chain / Logistics Management, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials, logistics, production control, or manufacturing operations.
- Expert knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory control processes, receiving, shipping, and procurement workflows.
- Experience setting up and implementing company-wide ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work across Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Customer-facing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expereince with Kinetic
- Experience implementing Kinetic Preferred certifications: APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification.
Work Environment
Role requires regular interaction with warehouse, shipping/receiving, and production personnel. Position is primarily office-based with routine presence on the manufacturing floor to coordinate material flow and resolve operational issues. Adherence to all PPE and safety requirements is required.
