Job Summary

Fori Automation’s Mechanical Engineering Department is seeking a Entry Level Mechanical Detailer. The candidate will work out of our Shelby Twp., Michigan facility and must demonstrate the following to be considered.

Job Duties

• Dimensional drawings in Inventor CAD software of manufactured details from an assembly drawing.
• Plotting and organizing of details, as well as maintaining job folders.
• 3D Inventor checker changes for assembly drawings, details and B.O.M.’s.
• Able to utilize standard and reference details.
• Able to datum dimension
• Mathematical stack-up of details for fit.
• Understanding of G.D.&T. and component tolerance.
• Knowledge and use of Fori Standards.
• Keeping engineering supply inventory complete.
• Download and translate product CAD data.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred
• Experience or training in 3D CAD, Inventor or SolidWorks
• Competent in advanced algebra
• Competent in advanced drafting techniques
