Sr. Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis

 

Position Summary:  This position supports the business activities linking strategies to performance metrics that are systematically monitored in order to drive the results of Fori Consolidated. Activities include all areas relating to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, Sales and Operations.

 

The Sr. Analyst works directly with the Sr. Manager, Finance – Fori Automation, Fori Automation management, Managing Director(s), and Site Finance Managers. Additionally, they will work closely with local site Departments and Operational Management, Corporate Financial Reporting, and America’s Finance Department.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Active member of the group and business units’ management team, as a strategic Business Partner supporting Management, Commercial, and Operations teams of the site initiatives and more broadly Global Automation initiatives.
  • Support the Lincoln Business Systems platform implementation across the broader Fori Automation team. The platform includes specific reporting and tools (ie Salesforce, Smartsheet, Epicor, HFM, RPA, SAP BW, etc.)
  • Champion best-practices and drive process improvement opportunities to improve resource productivity.
  • Make recommendations to Management and Fori Finance to reduce operating costs and increase efficiency.
  • Collect, analyze, and present financial information to business partners identifying risks and opportunities; take a leadership role in developing solutions and driving performance.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, pricing, capital investments, inventory management, and departmental cost activities as well as ad hoc analyses.
  • Interface with other departments to verify transaction reporting data and issues.
  • Support the Finance team to complete accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close reporting through Hyperion Financial Management templates, FDM reporting, and ARM.
  • Perform special projects as needed or directed by management, operations and finance management.

 

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Must be familiar with Company objectives and play an active role in continuous improvement
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels of the organization
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
