Job Responsibilities
- Programming of chassis marriage system, end of line application utilizing simulation and testing, and assistance to support and secure customer’s production.
- Commission, test and debug systems at customer's facilities when required.
- Provide technical support for electrical controls and troubleshooting for customers.
- Determine, develop, and support standardized modules.
- Determine, develop, and support user interfaces.
- Research, specify and deploy 3rd party libraries when required.
- Partner with Mechanical, Electrical Engineers and Program Management.
- Ability to lead junior software programmers based on schedule milestones.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
- Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist
- Works independently
Job Requirements
- 8+ years professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related field
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of software design concepts and processes
- C++/C#, High level proficiency, Python and Jscript experience necessary.
- Microsoft Visual Studio™ environment.
- Advanced UX (User interface) design.
- Basic database management, SQL experience beneficial.
- Microsoft Windows™ Operating Systems
- Linux and Android operating system development experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred) experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of PLC and PAC systems experience a plus.
- Possible 50% travel requirements.
