Job Responsibilities
- Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
- Set and verify parts clearances.
- Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
- Conduct standardized tests to evaluate product performance and conformance to specifications.
- Maintain and organize inventory of testing materials.
- Assignments often require completion of a sequence of related operations, tests and evaluations.
- Makes observations, records & reports results and performs simple computations.
- Additional responsibilities as required by engineers and/or supervision.
- Maintains work environment and equipment in safe working order.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years’ experience in machinery manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain a positive and cooperative work environment with coworkers and supervisors.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret specifications and procedures related to job assignments.
- Working knowledge of computer applications used for certifications & conformances.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and maintain neat, accurate records.
- Must be safety and quality conscious.
