Job Responsibilities
- To report to the Assistant Manager - Machine Division and communicate all matters or concerns
- To ensure adequate components are on hand at the work station as well as the required supplementary hardware.
- To use hand and power tools as required, assembly and connect components, running the wires properly, following the wiring diagrams and following a specific sequence into a sub-assembly for mounting onto the main assembly.
- On completion of sub-assembly proceed with the Quality Assurance for first-piece check. When approved, proceed with assembly of subsequent units.
- To be fully knowledge in the procedures of each work station and be prepared to work at any, as may be directed. Occasionally it may be required to work at two work stations in sequence on the same run.
- Follow first off procedures and complete all documentation as required
- To conduct visual inspection of product and have Quality Assurance Inspector do first-piece check is any deviations occurs.
- To ensure safety, product quality, productivity standards and cost-efficiency objectives are met
- To obtain production ticket (traveler) prior to the commencement of wiring assembly, complete the ticket in an accurate manner and put it back on the welder at completion of operation
- Abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of natural resources and the Health & Safety of all employees
Job Requirements
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Trades Courses.
- Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
- More than 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting.
